Summary:
The study explains that prenuptial medical examination is a legitimate
duty in Islamic jurisprudence and a legal requirement in Algerian family law,
where prenuptial medical examination is seen as a means of protecting the
health of spouses and families, through which infectious or hereditary diseases
are detected that may affect the spouses' lives and future generations.
The examination is carried out in accredited health centres and includes
comprehensive medical examinations to ensure the couple's safety s legal
orientation towards protecting the health of spouses and the family, It forms
part of the country's family laws and legislation, and Islamic jurisprudence and
Algerian family law cooperate in this context to achieve one goal, The study
therefore found that pre-marriage medical examination was an important legal
and legitimate tool in protecting the healthy future of spouses and the family
and contributed to the promotion and implementation of the law in Algeria
