The first chapter addresses the concepts of environmental policy and environmental sustainability, along with the tools involved. The second chapter discusses the environmental situation in Algeria, focusing on challenges such as pollution and resource depletion, and reviews the legislative and institutional framework and environmental programs. The study also examines environmental governance mechanisms and the role of local and international actors in promoting sustainability, addressing challenges such as weak coordination and limited resources.
