In fact, the comparison of the simulation results to experimental ones shows a good concordance. In addition, the simulation and experimental study make in evidence the effect of some electrical and mechanical parameters on defect detection sensitivity such as coils excitation density, its dimensions, scanning speed and defect orientation and dimensions. In context, we recall that many researchers had presented and validated some solution to compensate the effect of lift-off variation and acceleration velocity.enTheoretical and Experimental Study of Magnetic Field Leakage Testing of Drill PipesThesis
