To address the research inquiries and meet the outlined objectives, the researchers employed an exploratory-descriptive approach. A distinct questionnaire was distributed among learners to collect quantitative and qualitative data. The participants were 50 third year English students at M’sila University. The findings indicate positive perceptions towards the use of podcasts in enhancing listening and speaking skills. Also, most participants showed positive improvements stating that they do use podcasts for improving their listening and speaking performance. In addition, students can use them to learn the English language either for personal interest or to meet academic requirements in teaching and learning. Nevertheless, despite these more favorable outcomes, there were some challenges faced by students in using podcasts such as lack of understanding speakers’ accent and speed speech. This underscores the students’ favorability and engagement using podcasts for effective listening, and speaking comprehension skillsenKeywords: attitudesEFLlistening skillspodcastsspeaking skills.Exploring EFL Learners Practices and Attitudes towards The Effectiveness of Podcasts in Enhancing Speaking and Listening Skills.
