Modélisation du comportement d’une fondation superficielle sur un sol renforce par géosynthétique
(University of M'sila, 2023-10-09) CHABIRA Abir, DJAAROUNE Messaouda; Enca/LAHMADI Azzeddine
This memory presents a numerical study by means of analyzes in finite elements on the bearing capacity of a strip foundation resting on sand reinforced by tablecloths of geogrids. Calculations were carried out by using the code finite elements PLAXIS. The objectives of this study are: to determine the factors, which are likely to have the most, influence on the bearing capacity of the Soil reinforced by geogrids. The factors are:  The distance between the tablecloths: (h).  The distance between the bases of has foundation and has first tablecloth: (u).  The width of the layers: (b).  The number of the tablecloths of reinforcement: (N). It is shown that the bearing capacity can be considerably improved by inclusion of the tablecloths of geogrids, the bearing capacity is increases with the increase in (b) and (N) and the reduction in (h) and (u).
