Abstract
The research topic revolves around the controls and conditions of ijtihad according to Ibn Taymiyyah. This research highlights the significance of this status in Islamic law and its active role, as well as the conditions that must be met for a person in this position to be worthy of ijtihad. Given that the current time requires scholars of ijtihad more than ever, Ibn Taymiyyah's methodology is considered closer to reality to help the nation emerge from this intellectual stagnation. This is achieved by fulfilling the mentioned conditions along with the necessity of being well-versed in empirical sciences, which have become significantly related to legal rulings. All of this aims to apply legal rulings in a realistic and sound manner, unify the nation, and demonstrate the eternal nature of this divine law and its suitability and reform for every time and place, as well as to refute the claims of the enemies of the faith and the correct prophetic methodology.

يدور موضوع البحث حول ضوابط وشروط الاجتهاد عند ابن تيمية. يُبرز هذا البحث أهمية هذه المكانة في الشريعة الإسلامية ودورها الفاعل، والشروط التي يجب توافرها فيمن يتبوأها حتى يكون أهلاً للاجتهاد. ولما كان العصر يحتاج إلى علماء الاجتهاد أكثر من أي وقت مضى، فإن منهج ابن تيمية يُعدّ أقرب إلى الواقع لإخراج الأمة من هذا الجمود الفكري، وذلك بتحقيق الشروط المذكورة، مع ضرورة الإلمام بالعلوم التجريبية التي أصبحت مرتبطة ارتباطًا وثيقًا بالأحكام الشرعية. كل ذلك يهدف إلى تطبيق الأحكام الشرعية تطبيقًا واقعيًا سليمًا، وتوحيد الأمة، وبيان خلود هذه الشريعة الإلهية وصلاحيتها وصلاحها لكل زمان ومكان، ودحض ادعاءات أعداء الدين والمنهج النبوي الصحيح.
