The objective of our work is to design a robust optimal control method, in this case the optimal Sliding Mode Control (OSMC). To do this, a reminder of the Sliding Mode Control (SMC) and the linear Quadratic Control (LQC) is presented in chapter 1 and chapter 2 of this manuscript. A synthesis of the Optimal Sliding Mode Control is described in the third chapter. an example illustration of the three controls (LQ, SMC and OSMC) is carried out on a real system, in this case the bioreactor. The simulation results show the robustness of the proposed method with respect to parameter variation and disturbance rejection.en_US
