This thesis explores the importance of geotechnical instrumentation in the design, construction, and monitoring of civil engineering structures in Algeria, where geological challenges (seismicity, expansive soils, karst) and large-scale infrastructure projects require advanced monitoring techniques. The primary objectives of the research conducted in this thesis are: To initially validate computational models through in-situ measurements, also to detect risks early (settlements, landslides, pore water pressures). finaly to propose recommendations tailored to local conditionsand proposal of solutions for strengthening. The results demonstrate that geotechnical instrumentation is essential for ensuring the safety of structures. Technical aspects, field feedback, and strategic recommendations are also provided
