This thesis systematically explores the compositions of ternary relations, identifying all possible compositions and examining their associativity properties, including mixed-associativity. It introduces Bandler-Kohout-compositions for ternary relations, extends the framework to fuzzy settings, and establishes connections between these compositions and binary relations through projection and cylindrical extension.
