Abstract
This book offers a comprehensive introduction to Artificial Intelligence, progressing from fundamental
concepts to advanced learning paradigms. It begins with an overview of artificial intelligence including its
definitions, subfields, and applications, followed by an in-depth presentation of knowledge representation
formalisms and expert systems. The book then examines classical and heuristic search strategies which
are fundamental to problem solving in intelligent systems. Machine learning and deep learning are
subsequently introduced as core techniques enabling systems to learn from data and improve their
performance. Through this structured approach, the book provides students and practitioners with the
theoretical foundations and practical insights necessary to understand, design, and apply intelligent
systems in real-world domains.
