قدمت رواية غرفة الذكريات صورة المجتمع الجزائري خلال فترة التسعينات.
بطل الرواية عبد المالك عزيز الذي تدور مجمل أحداث الرواية حوله، والذي ضاع منه حلم مثل ذلك الجيل الذي فقد الكثير من أحلامه في دروب الجزائر المظلمة.
بشير مفتي من بين الروائيين الذي يشتغل على رواياته بكثير من الحب والشعور والجمالية
ومن هذا المنطلق كانت دراستنا موسومة الرؤى الايدولوجية في رواية غرفة الذكريات لبشير مفتي
