Abstract
The study aimed to highlight the role of digital transformation in improving the
performance of the Algerian administration, through a field study conducted at the
Specialized Hospital in Gynecology and Obstetrics "Slimane Amirat" in M'sila. The research
was applied to a random sample consisting of 35 employees at the same hospital. The
descriptive-analytical method was adopted, relying on observation and a questionnaire as the
main research tools.
The study reached several findings, the most important of which is that digital
transformation at Slimane Amirat Hospital enhances functional performance through an
effective digital infrastructure, high digital competence among employees, and digital
administrative procedures that simplify tasks. It also contributes to speeding up decision-
making, improving the quality of services, and increasing flexibility—while emphasizing the
need to strengthen continuous training.
