| dc.description.abstract | The local media has become an essential and important actor in promoting local development in Algeria, and it is considered one of the most important institutions on which the state relies to achieve development, as it is the intermediary closest to the citizen. Through these studies, we addressed three main elements in the first chapter: the concept of media and development, and the relationship that links them. With a narration of the reality of local media in Algeria under the systems of one-party and multi-party, and a discussion of the most important reforms presented by the state in order to develop it, passing through the discussion of the role of media in supporting development and revealing the most important challenges and obstacles that hinder it. Finally, we addressed some solutions and proposals that would contribute to the development of this media in Algeria, with the aim of purposeful and effective media performance. | |
