Abstract With the spread of technology and the advancements in communication methods, this has led to the development of electronic business transactions. One of its prominent features is that it occurs in a virtual world, with the absence of physical presence of the contracting parties. Additionally, consumers play a significant role in the consumption cycle, engaging in daily transactions with stakeholders to meet their needs, making them more susceptible to fraud unknowingly, neglecting their health and interests. This is largely due to the proliferation of counterfeit goods. Hence, the Algerian legislature has committed to effectively protecting consumers, recognizing them as the weaker party in these relationships, by implementing legal mechanisms from pre-contractual protection for electronic consumers to post- contractual mechanisms, through organized legal provisions.
