Abstract
The study sought to shed light on the transformations that
characterized the international system, starting with a bipolar
system led by the Soviet Union and the United States of America,
and the cold war witnessed in that phase between the two camps
that lasted for decades until the collapse of the Soviet Union and
the international system turned into unipolar, with the United
States of America being the sole leader. The world, but it violated
all moral and legal values, international law, and international
norms, launched wars, overthrew legitimate regimes and elected
.governments, and spread chaos everywhere
Russia recovered and rebuilt itself, and with the arrival of President
Vladimir Putin to power, he began working on a national strategy to
rebuild Russia’s power economically, militarily, and technologically,
bringing it to advanced levels that qualified it to play major regional
and international roles, and thus reorganized and redistributed the
forces of New to the international system and seeks to reshape a
.multipolar international system
