Abstract: The purpose of our study is to outline what the Algerian legislature has defined in the areas of investment in accordance with the provisions of Act No. 22-18, which provides for the benefit of investors. This has made it necessary to provide incentives and benefits for investors. It has been divided into the system of incentives for priority sectors and the system of incentives for areas of particular interest to the State, as well as the system of incentives for investments of a structured nature, in order to create an appropriate investment environment and climate and to stimulate domestic and foreign investment. The Algerian Investment Promotion Agency (AIPA) plays the role of investment facilities both within Algeria and abroad, along with the only network with national competence as the sole coordinator of large-scale projects, foreign investments and single decentralized youth. It is a mechanism for processing and monitoring investment projects with a view to making the investment process a success. We conclude that Act No. 22.18 introduced a new investment policy in which it strengthened the position of foreign and national investors by granting them freedom, transparency and equality in dealing with investments, while removing certain restrictions that limited their freedom to reflect their project on the ground.
