| dc.description.abstract | تندرجهذهالمذكرةضمنالدراساتالتاريخيةالتيتعنىبتحليلأدوارالشخصياتالسياسيةالمؤثرةفيتوجيهالسياساتالدوليةخلالالفتراتالحاسمةمنالتاريخالمعاصر. وقدوقعاختياري علىشخصيةالرئيسالأمريكيريتشاردنيكسون، نظراًللدورالبارزالذياضطلعبهفيصياغةتوجهاتالسياسةالخارجيةللولاياتالمتحدةالأمريكية، ولاسيماخلالأواخرالستينياتوبدايةالسبعينياتمنالقرنالعشرين، وهيفترةشهدتتحولاتعميقةعلىالمستويينالإقليميوالدولي. لقدتركزاهتماميبشكلخاصعلىتأثيرنيكسونفيمسارالصراعالعربيالإسرائيلي، وخاصةخلالالحربالعربيةالإسرائيليةالرابعةفيأكتوبر 1973، حيثمثّلموقفهالداعملإسرائيل، رفقةوزيرخارجيتههنريكسينجر، أحدأبرزالعواملالتيساهمتفيتوجيهمجرياتالحربوإنهائهاعلىنحولميحققالطموحاتالعربيةفيتجاوزآثارنكسةيونيو 1967. وعليه، تهدفهذهالمذكرةإلىتحليلطبيعةالدورالأمريكي، ممثلًافيشخصيةنيكسون، فيهذاالصراع، منخلالتتبعالسياساتوالمواقفالتيتبناها، وذلكبالاعتمادعلىمنهجيةتحليليةتقومعلىالوصفوالتفسيروالاستنتاج، فيإطاردراسةتاريخيةتوثيقيةتسعىإلىالإلمامبجوانبالموضوعمنمختلفأبعادهالسياسيةوالدبلوماسية. الكلماتالمفتاحية: ريتشاردنيكسون، الصراعالعربيالإسرائيلي، هنريكسينجر، نكسة 1967، حربأكتوبر 1973، السياسةالخارجيةالأمريكية. Abstract: This memorandum falls within the category of historical studies that analyze the roles of influential political figures in shaping international policies during critical periods of contemporary history. I have chosen the figure of US President Richard Nixon due to the prominent role he played in shaping the foreign policy orientations of the United States, particularly during the late 1960s and early 1970s, a period that witnessed profound transformations at the regional and international levels. My interest has focused particularly on Nixon's influence on the course of the Arab-Israeli conflict, particularly during the Fourth Arab-Israeli War in October 1973. His support for Israel, along with that of his Secretary of State, Henry Kissinger, was one of the most prominent factors that contributed to guiding the course of the war and its conclusion in a manner that failed to achieve Arab aspirations to overcome the effects of the June 1967 setback. Accordingly, this memorandum aims to analyze the nature of the American role, represented by Nixon, in this conflict by tracing the policies and positions he adopted. This is done using an analytical methodology based on description, interpretation, and inference, within the framework of a historical and documentary study that seeks to grasp the various political and diplomatic aspects of the subject.
