| dc.description.abstract | Electronic document forgery is one of the most prominent emerging cybercrimes imposed by technological developments and the proliferation of digital transactions. Electronic documents have become equivalent to traditional documents in terms of evidence, provided they meet the conditions set by the legislator. We relied on two chapters. The first chapter is a conceptual framework for the electronic document, while the second chapter addresses the legal mechanisms for criminalizing the forgery of the electronic document. The study concludes that, despite the Algerian legislature's efforts to protect electronic documents, it still needs to develop more precise and clear texts to keep pace with the rapid development of modern technologies, unify concepts with comparative legislation, and support 0technical and training aspects to effectively combat this crime | |
