The aristocratic families—Al-Ghubrini, Ibn Qunfudh, and Al-Maghili—played a
Significant role in political relations in the Central Maghreb through their
Resolution of crises, dominance over judicial and religious functions, and the
Wealth that secured their prestigious scientific and social status. As for Al-
Maghili, his reformist role and forward-looking vision had a lasting impact on
the history of the Central Maghreb
