summary
The Algerian constitutional legislator maintained the position of the
central administration at the top of the pyramid of power within the
2020 constitutional amendment, and the President of the Republic in
Algeria continued to enjoy an excellent and lofty legal and
constitutional status over all constitutional institutions in the state, and
in parallel with that, he sought to rebalance the powers of the Prime
Minister or the Prime Minister, as the case may be, by enabling him to
lead, direct, coordinate and monitor the government, as well as the
development of the head of government's system with his own
program if the legislative elections result in a parliamentary majority.
