Abstract

The stability of the family and the protection of its entity from any danger or harm is considered as a Sharia and justice goal. Reconciliation came through laws and procedures to protect the marital relationship from dangers, damages, and causes of collapse. Islamic law calls for it and is keen on it. To achieve this, reconciliation between spouses was legislated as an option to achieve the continuity of family stability and resolve the causes of disputes that may end in the dissolution of the marital bond, the collapse of the family entity, and the displacement of its members. For this purpose, our study aims to adhere to the legitimate method of finalizing judgments, ordering reconciliation between disputes, and providing practical steps to resolve disputes and end disputes, as well as clarifying the role of the judge in offering reconciliation to the adversaries by explaining the impact of reconciliation on the parties to the dispute, and in completing this work we followed the method Descriptive and analytical because it is the most appropriate for this. At the end of our study, we reached several results, the most important of which is that reconciliation between spouses is considered one of the most important ways to preserve the family and its unity.
