Abstract
The system of rehabilitation targets individuals who have been previously convicted of a crime, aiming to erase the traces of the punishment from their criminal records. It also reintegrates the released offenders socially in order to control the situation and reduce criminal activities. To implement the rehabilitation system, several conditions must be met, both procedural and objective, such as having a good conduct and behavior certificate. Whether rehabilitation is enforced by the law or through the judicial system, it is beneficial to the individual automatically without any additional procedures, making it an acquired right from a legal standpoint. However, judicial rehabilitation can only be granted upon request by the convicted individual and is only given once. Therefore, they are obliged to improve their behavior and conduct, and if they commit another crime, they will be convicted again and will not benefit from judicial rehabilitation. They must wait for a certain period of time before they can legally obtain it.
