The commission of disciplinary error by the public official leads to
the imposition of disciplinary punishment on him, to deter him and
others from returning to his punishment, which is a penalty in his
position of employment, and may lead to his dismissal from the job if
the error committed is very serious, the process of disciplining the public
servant for The disciplinary authority is not a reprisal or coercion; it is a
legal process aimed at reforming the employee and a warning to the
rest of the staff in order to preserve the good conduct of the public
utilities. The competent authority, even though it has wide discretionary
power to punish the public servant, It is a barbaric power, The Algerian
legislator has issued various orders and basic laws governing the field
